Balzarines
A clutch, a piece of jewellery, a unique concept
Florence Faucon and Hélène Prime, modern-day Balzarines*, combine decorative textiles and exceptional leather with gemstones for a very French take on luxury.
Their debut collection is called Cabochons. Its some twenty understated designs in high-end designer fabrics (such as dappled ottomans, wide basket-weaves, and solid and geometric-print jacquards) and full-grain calfskin feature jewelled clasps set with gemstones (such as carnelian, red jasper, chalcedony, rose quartz, grey nacre and malachite). Each design is unique, and the guiding principles are elegance, exactingness, and the blending of a variety of styles and cultures.
These jewellery clutches are manufactured in the Paris region and are designed to be carried under the arm, although they also include a detachable leather handle.
